San Marino F1 GP Results

Here are the results from this weekend's race, which was really exciting compared to this season's snore-infested processions. It's also a joke that MS wasn't punished for what he did.

It seems like everyone was a pretty big winner (yes even you, Jim!) other than Narsi and me. It was only natural of course for me to get clobbered - you should have seen the rest of my day! At least I don't have to pay for that speeding ticket... Anyone want to pay for my crash damage?

I was in Aruba  and "missing" nothing.

It's called "letting the bet ride" (translation:  I had no flippin' idea what was going the change given the three weeks between races, so I decided NOT to decide.)

By the way, congrats to Michael on his 24 points at VIR! Last year's soggy trip (remember how it rained...and rained?) seemed to have paid off big time.

Re: San Marino F1 GP Results

Actually, Mr. Consistent did MUCH better than 24 points, to the tune of 48 points!. They haven't updated the points system yet, which has changed massively. Basically, there are now 3 distinct racing groups:

1. Championship Group
2. Expert Group
3. Sportsmen Group

The champ group has the fastest regional drivers, the expert group has the midfield guys and the sportsmen group has the newbies and the slowguys. Michael kicked ass in the Expert group, getting 24 points for each of his 3rd place finishes.

I'm going to do summaries of the race and also the new systems shortly and will post it on the site.

The only guy even close to me right now is some dude named Donald that was skinny-dipping in Aruba when he could have been sweating his nuts of in a hot car in Virginia. Guy's gotta get get his priorities straight.

Mr. Craig,

In our previous conversations you have impressed me as an intelligent individual.

I refer you to my wife's email (attached below) and defer to your qualified opinion as to whether I might, in your words, "have my priorities straight."

I think the operative word here is "have" Jim. That is "to be in one's possession."

...tell jim craige if you werent in aruba...you'd be looking for your nuts...
