Amazing recreation of Senna's record qualifying lap at Suzuka 1989
 

Honda recently released this film in which sound engineers recreated Ayrton Senna’s record-breaking Suzuka qualifying lap from 1989. Using real data from Senna’s lap and a series of speakers and LED lights lined around the track, the team of engineers recreated the run in this touching piece.

In the 1980's, Honda introduced this technology to F1.

That is now available to all drivers.
