Not my optimum preferences overall, still pondering. Another year without Watkins Glen also.

Well...
Road Atlanta in May is way better than June, July or August... and is a standard Wed. thru Sunday schedule. When is rainy season in Atlanta?

Lime Rock in early June has a good shot of being wonderful. June 1-6 is one more day than usual?

Road America just past July 4th weekend will likely be hot and July 6-9 is a Monday thru Thursday so it's not the classic race weekend scheduling we're used to. Cheaper track rental is the likely reason.

Homestead in August is a tough sell even with a night race... and this schedule indicates Wed. thru Sat. Is this an undercard to a pro event?

VIR late Sept. should be wonderful but the schedule indicates only a 3 day schedule of Monday, Tuesday and Wed.

NOLA late October sounds tolerable and is a one day abbreviated Thursday thru Sunday schedule. First time ever there won't be a Lime Rock finale.

Pat, that's a cool idea!

The mid-week races feel awkward, but I understand why. I was also wondering the same thing about Homestead. Maybe not a pro event, but likely something else happening during the day. Either way, a night race will be much better weather than daytime.

My first year at SBRS (1998?) we had a 1-day corporate event at Homestead mid-July. I spent the day in a formula car doing lead follows, which was rather hot!
