I can't speak with any authority or experience on running in the Nationals, but I have to wonder as well why there are only 2 races this year running as support races at "big" venues. I recognize there are additional SB dollars that must go towards these events, and one can only surmise that, even with the new financing, it was not deemed a good financial move to expend the dollars on these events. It is of course less expensive to run with the Regionals. Are the occupants of those "tailpipes" getting the best exposure with only 2 major support race weekends ?
Let's hope this is only temporary and SB can return to putting on, as we know, the best show of the weekend at major races. For now though, I look forward to having the pleasure of watching that show when they run with us at the Regionals.
