If we haven't had enough of each other by the end of the day, dinner at "The Wandering Moose" near Cornwall's covered bridge (about 9minutes from LRP) or my place at Woodridge Lake (about 18 minutes from LRP) might be an appropriate way to celebrate. :-)

Pat... Sorry, it is Julia's 9th birthday party. Don't think she wants to do it at Lime Rock.

Donald... Sorry, I'll be racing REAL cars that day. Take off the skirt and come to WGI for the weekend!

Michael, enjoy Julia's birthday and the racing!

Sid and Donald re: Thong vs Kilt (Though I second Sids sentiment that we miss Donald at the track)

Sorry Donald, the Boston Karting event is Memorial Day weekend and I'm at LRP on that Saturday.

Do they have any handicapped go-karts? Maybe I'll make the trip and get back to racing before I thought!

Maybe a wheelchair race would be a good way to prep myself mentally.

Hey Jon,

How ya' feelin'?

I don't think its the karts that are handicapped, only the drivers. :-) Evan Evans has a pretty nifty off-road racing truck with hand controls.

What you really need is one of those wheel chair basketball games to get yourself in shape.

Re: May 7th 6-hour Endurance Karting Event at LRP

Feeling a lot better. Meeting with the Doc tomorrow after which I will know more. I'm able to drive, able to hobble around on my crutches but still milking all the favors I can possibly get. It's not easy yet, but it's much better then even just a few days ago. I've also stopped eating the vicodin like M&Ms, which is a plus... they tell me.

Are you driving that CRAZY 900+ hp audi with your leg? You've got to post pictures of that thing, I think it's so cool.

Also, did you stop "taking the vicodins like m&m's" before or after you started driving again?

Can't do 5/7 - coaching little league...

If I'm able, would be at WGI for 5/28 but likely playing golf in SC with the in-laws.

Miss you guys!

Hey Sid:

No, I'm hardly saying that...bite your tongue but that is a long weekend so it's tough...

There are very few things I'd rather do than watch the action from the busstop at the Glen with you, Sid...being in the car dive-bombing the rest of you yo-yos (said affectionately) is one of them...

See you soon,

:tomahawk
