Re: Shoes and Gloves
Narrow thin soled shoes are the best. When I did my 3-day was told to go buy some cheap wrestling shoes. I did and they worked fine for my 3 day. Then I bought real nomex driving shoes. Some don't wear gloves but any good driving glove will work. I think I may have worn golf gloves but it's been so long I don't remember. The point of both good driving gloves and shoes is fire protection and good feel. You are compromising the safety if you use the alternatives mentioned but if it's a one off experience and money is an issue... Those are some alternatives.
