Exclamation And the BIG WINNER of the Race of Champions competition is...

After calculating the results (which were REALLY close, btw!), the Winner is.....

tgoodhart!!!

Great going, Tom! It Looks like you won around $650! You deserve it, as you also had the best creative pick with your second pick.

The results were so close, that we needed a tie-breaker to decide between the top 4 guys, who were all tied with 26 points. tgoodhart, birkmamas 1 & 2 (impressive picking!) & dalyduo were all tied, but the tie-breaker was TeamUSA's single win in the quarter finals, which gave tgoodhart the victory.

Tom, a few words from you now in your own language please...

Tom, the entries totalled $1,300, and the game is that you get half and the Mechanic's Fund gets half. Is that what you meant? Also, if you have a 'confirmed bank account' on your paypal account, I can just paypal you the money. Otherwise, I'll send you a check.

Yes, you were invited but you didn't show up. I had the hottest girls in the world there (our wives), too, just for our entertainment. You lost out, dude.

The HDNet show was great - at least the racing was great and it looked great on screen. The commentating and the way they were showing the status of the races were awful, though. I have it on High Def Tivo if you you ever want to see it. No hot chick entertainment for you, unless you wanto BYOB(abes).

Re: And the BIG WINNER of the Race of Champions competition is...

must have missed the invite...was too busy trying to reconcile all the math errors...I was stuck at home watching re-runs of the SCCA runoffs at mid-Oh. Tried to get my wife to serve me beer in a short miniskirt. no luck. I am thrilled that she can watch a few turns of a race and say things like " now thats turn 5 ..and that's Madness right?" and "thats the turn were you spun while in the lead"...good stuff.

Hey Sy,
I did understand the 1/2 and 1/2 part and was suggesting we split my half and give it to the mechanics too.
So 975 mechanics, 325 me.
I don't have a paypal account tho, so if you could email me, I will reply to you with my address.

Thanks

Tom, that's super generous of you. I'm sure Sid's wife will be thrilled!
