Nice 917 tribute

Only .7 seconds related to Steve McQueen and they're not stolen from "Le Mans".

Re: Nice 917 tribute

There was a great Porsche vintage weekend at Lime Rock Park a few years back with many of those cars in attendance. They predated the exotic light weight materials like carbon fiber that are taken for granted today. What stood out after looking under the bodywork was how substantial they were. Huge half shafts and suspension members like girders. You couldn't help but be impressed at how physically imposing they were both moving and standing still. Great works of automotive art.
