Mt. Tremblant memorial race!
OK boys and girls. We are gearing up for Mt. Tremblant (pronounced Mont Tre' Blant in Tennessee). I would like to prep you all for a thought. I want to do tag team Enduro (meaning more than one driver , etc) and want a heads up. These things never work well on the spot. So, what I am doing, is taking a general note on who likes the idea and so forth. If the idea is yes, we like it, I will host the "rules meeting" the night of Friday or something. It takes 1 hour just to go over the rules and regs. Put the idea in your head, and I will take a vote on Friday. It's a great place to race and YOU should take every minute to run on it! Look towards happy times and great racing this weekend. Be safe, Keith Watts

Re: Mt. Tremblant memorial race!
Team Greist loves the idea and plans to use a combination of blazing speed and aged cunning to triumph. You can figure out which member of Team Greist contributes the speed, and which the cunning.
It's all about strategery.

Re: Mt. Tremblant memorial race!
Keith, this is a fine idea. Will there be time on Saturday (remember the picnic at the lake afterward)? Or is this a Sunday thing where there are no qualifying sessions to slow things down? In any event, I promise not to drop oil on the track this year.

With all due respect to the discussion about running LRP in reverse, maybe Tremblant in reverse would reveal just how much strategery Team Greist could conjure up.

Not to hijack the thread, sorry, but can anyone give me a ride in the mornings starting on Friday from the village to the track?

Re: Mt. Tremblant memorial race!
Keith,
Can we finally amend the rules to ban any pit stops made after the white flag is displayed, so we can actually race?
Thanks!

Dude! The one race I am not making this season. Your killing me.
I am so bumming that I am going to miss this weekend. Especially now with the enduro memorial race. Enjoy, I cannot wait to hear about it.
See you all in Mid-Ohio

Re: Mt. Tremblant memorial race!
Well, I was too patient and Gabby and Hamilton did not crash (they were carving each other up pretty good...) and I ended up 2nd.... Gabby, you will go down in the future!

Re: Mt. Tremblant memorial race!
I didn't know until after the race that it was the esteemed Duke Sanford who charged by me going to Turn 1. Could you hear me laughing as I saw your "lassoing wave" as you went by in hot pursuit of the young 'uns ?

I forgot about my patent pending lasso wave Gary.... I hope I did not scare you too bad... ahhaha. You just made me laugh so hard out loud, that Mel and the students here at work all stopped to look at me.....

Re: Mt. Tremblant memorial race!
So that arm spasm was a lasso wave? Thought you were having a seizure!
Great time Keith. Very good stuff. Thanks again for a great weekend both in the pits and on track!

Re: Mt. Tremblant memorial race!
OK, thanks to James and Mike Marino at Helix for their in car vids... I owe Gary "Viz" the Vizmeister, Vizioli a beer or bev of his choice at Mid Ohio! Viz, I had no idea that I pulled the patented Lasso Wave out for Tremblant. I did not believe you, and I just got the official in car, and guess what. I owe you one Bud(pun intended)! It was hilarious. I have too much fun when I race. Can somebody post the official results. I mean, who was in what car and where they finished results? Thanks guys.... Keith

Here are the results Duke, it was a fun race to see and hear (I have the chatter recorded). Send me your video Duke, and Daly and anyone else that had a camera, it would make a kick-ass edited race video.

Re: Mt. Tremblant memorial race!
Wish I'd had a camera on for the memorial. Would love to see Duke's with the race chatter on there. I'd pay for a copy!
