Nicely done
"Started out as just a collection of snaps as I stripped down an engine bought off ebay. (To replace my old engine, which had suffered catastrophic failure). The snaps were so that I remembered how everything went, so I could put it back together again.
Then I realised it'd be quite cool to make it an animation. found some suitable music, rekindled my ancient knowledge of Premiere, storyboarded it, shot it as I worked on the engine (my poor DSLR got covered in engine oil), this was the result."

Happens at LR when the wind comes out of the west. The locals say 'it's 'raining like cats and Can-Am cars'.

Also, as I get older I'm definitely getting stoopider - hence my decision to do an Ironman next year in Mont Tremblant. Here's a very funny video someone made that truly captures the moronicity of the endeavor:

I ache just imagining the out-take reel. Love the WD-40 sponsorship though. Great stuff.

Time for some more. These have been sitting in my bookmarks folder for a while now.
Here's a video of (mostly) russian's trying to commit insurance fraud by throwing themselves in front of (and UNDER) cars. This is why there are so many dash cams in Russia.

How close can you build next to a train track? The next time someone complains about not having enough space, a big enough store or a big enough kitchen, make them watch this.
Make sure you watch it until the end, until the train leaves the station.

Here's a really cool 360 degree video of the Stig going round the Top Gear track. You can pan through to any view angle while in motion - this is the first video like this I've seen. I can't seem to get it embedded, so you'll have to click through to the Top Gear site to watch it.
Re: The official Post a Fun YouTube Video thread..
That is awesome... Have never seen a POV in car of the entire course. Nice to finally see the whole thing. Guess they borrowed the camera from Google Maps eh?
