The clean room stuff is like a science fiction movie. Just amazing.

"took over a cake factory".. definitely a very cool article! I sometimes wonder what would happen if you put Hamilton and Alonso in a Redbul, Masa and Vettel in Mclaren, and webber and button in a ferrari.. And see how they race than. That would be interesting to watch!

Re: Behind the Scenes at Red Bull

I liked the cake factory part too.

Love the fact that Ferrari has figured things out and is now challenging the Red Bulls, but McLaren has really stumbled-- cost both their drivers the race one way or another. Human error in the case of Button's pit stop but you just can't make mistakes like that if you're the lollipop guy when your guy is challenging for a podium. Better another half second to confirm than race-ending catastrophe.

If McLaren can get on their game, we have an exciting season ahead, especially if there is a significant change made to the off-throttle-blown-diffuser regs that brings Red Bull performance back to the rest of the field. If not, it is going to be hard for anybody to challenge Vettel in a Red Bull no matter how well they develop their car.

The regs have been reverted. blown diffusers are legal again going forward.

so the rest of the season will be boring again :/

Re: Behind the Scenes at Red Bull

Yes, can't believe button's wheel was off before the pits! thank god that happened and not out on the track going 200+ km/h! They were also fined some good change over that error. "McLaren were fined €5,000 after a communication error led to Jenson Button leaving his box with no nut on his front-right wheel" taken from formula1.com. And Sauber got fined €20,000 for letting Kobayashi early and nearly causing a collision in the pits. Some hefty fines the teams can't afford to lose!

I think Mclaren's has seen the worst for the season and will start to challenge redbul and ferrari, If Hamilton decides to think and drive clean, not like Monaco. But hopefully someone can challenge redbull other than webber as we know team order's will probably come into play and the champ. might as well go to vettel already. If he keeps it up, he might win it soon!
