Italian Supercar Factory Tours - Recommendations?

Jane & I are going to Italy in early September and would like to spend a day touring the exotic car factories around Modena. On the web, we've discovered an outfit called Motorstars (http://www.motorstars.org/) that offers all-day guided tours of Ferrari (the museum only; the factory is open only to Ferrari owners, which sadly doesn't include us), Pagani (factory & showroom), Maserati, Ducati, and Lamborghini, including transport and lunch. Has anyone had experience or heard reliable reviews of Motorstars? Does anyone have other recommendations for Fezza/Lambo/etc factory tour operators?

Re: Italian Supercar Factory Tours - Recommendations?

Hi Moxie (er, Leland), I do not know about tours specifically of car factories and museums, but when Nancy and I wanted to take a tour of the Amalfi Coast we used Benvenuto Limousines (http://www.benvenutolimos.com/) and were extremely pleased. We essentially planned our own itinerary, and the driver was great at making suggestions for what we generally wanted to do. It is a top-shelf company that ought to be able to transport you from one factory to another if you line up the places that you want to visit (plus they know great restaurants for lunch and dinner in various locations).

Re: Italian Supercar Factory Tours - Recommendations?

i went to modena and at the famous restaurant across from the factory

it was nice but over priced

the museum is a skip -

if u cant get into the factory- you might want to skip it, the musuem is boring
it was fun to watch the cars zip around on the track tho
