Re: Watkins Glen - Summer Series

Awesome to witness as Michael was running with Shelby at the start and dropped back a few car lengths early on before clawing his way back to Shelby. There was a yellow flag near the end and after the restart Michael took the lead and held it to the finish. A hard fought and strategically smart race. Bravo and well done Michael!

Re: Watkins Glen - Summer Series

By the time we finished on Sunday - most people were focused on heading home. I expect there will be a memorial at Lime Rock in June.

Was thinking about this today and LRP may be a better place to run it, usually a lot of people, sorta Sid HQ. We'll get the word out to come to the track even if not racing - hang with Sid's spirit, cheer on a memorial, etc. There are a lot of friends of Sid (FoS) within easy driving distance. Saturday makes it easy too. I'll spread the word....yes?

Sorry for hi-jack, we can open a new LRP / Sid thread

Re: Watkins Glen - Summer Series

With another HUGE thank you to Diana Rice for helping me out () until we hire another marketing person, here's the race report from the Glen: http://www.skipbarber.com/5_25_2011_2_05_57_PM.asp

If you're around for the National this weekend at LRP, stop by and say hi!
