Uno, Dos, Tres
The person in charge of turning the lap counter at Mont Tremblant has officially joined our ranks. (Do we have ranks? I know we are rank at times.) Anyway, welcome to DalyTrio (aka Julia).

Re: Uno, Dos, Tres
Thanks Ted!
i give credit to my dad for coming up with my user name (thanks poppers!)
this site is really fun, i can already see im going to become just about as addicted to it as i am to facebook, which means im not going to be able to eat or sleep... there just arent enough hours in the day to spend glued in front of a computer screen... i am particularly enamored with the moving smileys, especially of the banana variety
Hope everyone had as much fun in Tremblant as i did!
Julia

Re: Uno, Dos, Tres
Hey, I know the feeling of turning your daughter into a Racing fanatic. At The Glen this spring, my daughter came down to watch the proceedings and I asked Terry Earwood if he would give Jackie a couple of Hot Laps around the track. He happily obliged.
After the ride, she came over and put her arm around me and said "You are the Best, Dad!" She followed this up by saying " I have got to get my degree over with and get a good paying job so I can get out and race against Dad. Before he gets old and slow I want to Kick his butt on the track!" This is a great motivator.
So Pat, I know how great the Father, Daughter, Skip Barber experience can make you feel.

Ohh boy... Never saw this coming... It's that feeling you get when the radar detector lights up at the same instant the headlights come on in the police car hiding in the median trees.

Oh not at all.. On the contrary... Remember all those lovely shots of you covered with chicken pox?... I wonder what kind of name we could come up with for those? And that amazing night brace you wore years ago attached to your braces... I'm sure that would be an interesting caption contest as well... No regrets at all dear
And I've seen Paul after a session on the skidpad and I'm sure there's a (OldRedFacedRacer) name for that...

Hey... I didn't start this... but I do have a post or two under my belt and know where all the bodies are buried. If you, rugboy, oldredface and posse want to spar... bring it on.
On the other hand why can't we all just hug it out and get along, eat fiber and vegetables, whistle a happy tune, have a nice day and make the world a better place.
Come on! Lets kiss and make up!

Re: Uno, Dos, Tres
IT's The "FAMILY FEUD" !!!!!
Come on Pat! You SHOULD have seen this coming. I NEVER let my family know about this site. I have seen the reaction to my wife and kids by my BEST friends. They would leave me and back them "IN AN INSTANT"
My oldest and dearest friends mother once told me, that in the event of a divorce, I would have to leave town! Even though she was only married to me for 6 months!
Give it up Pat, you never should have brought your daughter in the frey. All your allies have left you and sided with her!!!
You are now totally and utterly ALONE.

Re: Uno, Dos, Tres
Turrets syndrome takes many forms in OLD people who frequently over focus on bodily functions they are worried about. I think we've all learned something here.

Poppers, I do believe you have your syndromes confused. Below is an example of Turret syndrome. Tourette's, on the other hand, can be distinguished from Turrets in that it has no visible physical manifestations.

My heart breaks to see the relentless march of Time wither the child within you. Say it ain't so, George! Say it ain't so......

Harsha... That's what I get for google-ing the name... Though I love the happy accident you've come up with here. Often feel like the turret guy when I'm racing... A bit stiff.
George... I'll take all the help I can get. Thanks!

Finally someone brings some erudition and subtlety to this otherwise barren forum. Not to mention an A-1 sense of humor.
(The nanna's for you, Trio.)

Not only are you an OLD RED RACER, you are a Dirty old red racer.
Harsha, I WILL be Back next season for MORE, maybe all of the series. I am having my hip replaced in 3 weeks. This will take care of my INDY limp.
A good friend of mine are starting a business that has as its main mission "To be profitable enough to be used as a financing device for my Skippy Racing interests. " We have stated this firmly in our business plan, paragraph 2.

Now, though, I can't stop reading that line, and I can't stop laughing. On the floor...

I do believe the definition of Turret's syndromes is as follows "turrets" syndrome is when a person uncontrollable rotates around 360 degrees, making whirrring noises! like a turret on an ARMY tank?" Any we know fit into this category?
You guys (and girls) are killing me here!!!

Hey George. Best of outcomes on the hip. And I wasn't always a dirty old red racer. It took years and years of arduous labor.

Yes, George, I hope your hip surgery goes smoothly and as pain-free as possible. Modern joint technology is remarkable. I will be thinking of you as you have your operation. Please keep us all updated as to how you are doing.

Pssst, Doug, ease off! That's the way Paul sees the world. He's never sure that there's actually a gravel trap there until he touches and feels it.
