2004 United States GP - Results & Standings

I must hand it to all of the participants - we all sucked... big time! It was by far and away the worst weekend for all of us. We had two donuts, four 'ten and unders', and the high scorer was Jimal. But it was a pretty exciting race to watch, wasn't it?

Jimal leapfrogged both MDestructo and I to take third, while CMAC hopped and skipped over JuicyJules' big fat zero and fitilehpeach's seven deadly points. Pork Chop had a better than average points total because he forgot to put in his picks, and Birkmama managed to drop one more place down the order with an incredible ZIPPO score, despite the fact that he's the biggest F1 expert anywhere. fitilihpeach and birkzippo also both get slaps on the wrist for over-using a pick - fiti used BMW too many times and birknada used TS once too many. Your punishment? You were assigned Minardi and GB, respectively. But the big news is that the top 4 are covered by just 24 points, and only 6 cover from 2nd to 4th.

And has anyone notice that while Schumi has won 8 of 9 races, he's only 18 points ahead of Rubens?

Please check your picks by clicking here, which will also give you the full spreadsheet- click here There are a bunch of pages on the spreadsheet - you can navigate through them by clicking on the tabs at the bottom of the page.

Talking Re: 2004 United States GP - Results & Standings

Hooray for me sucking the least. Now if I had only picked Zsolt Baumgartner like I originally planned before Sydude talked me out of it (not to mention every other sane person around me)...

Sydude,

I'm sorry to hear about your carpal tunnel injury which prevented you from finishing the article about the recent United states Grand Prix - and thereby leaving out the congratulatory note and mention (by name) of the current Team Juicy Fantasy F1 points leader.

I hope and trust that your condition does not negatively affect your race results this coming weekend.

Sorry that I left you out, but I knew that you were going to talk about it anyway so I figured that I'd save myself some energy. And I've already started to complain about my stomach virus making me too weak to perform well this weekend, so adding carpal tunnel will just make it sound like I'm sandbagging.
