There are lots of plate display holders that will do the trick. True, not as easy as the trophies but the stands work well.

Re: Russell new cars?

We've been using the plates as Frizbees. Works well when playing with someone you don't like as long as you throw first and aim well.

Navy Seals use them to signal their subs for pick-up

In a pinch MacGiver can turn one into a satelite dish...

They make great holliday candy plates...

If you have a table with one short leg they're a god send.
A little wobble right side up. Big wobble turn 'em over.

Cat food works in the small ones. Dog chow in the big ones.

They're ideal as a patch for that rusted out floorpan in your Mustang II, Pinto or Chevy Vega...

The smooth edges are perfectly suited for scraping poo off your sneakers...

And they keep a lot of automated engraving machines busy...

Any hard disc including steel brimmed bowlers will work, even without blades.

Re: Russell new cars?

I am not sure if it is the lead content or the drinks at the year end banquet but if you look close you will see that these plates had an awful effect on me and caused an out of body experience....I keep hearing voices resonate off the plate......
