Do you know when this was recorded? Recently? It looks like the red and yellow paint on the curbs has been freshened. I wonder whether those curbs (particularly the inside of Turn 7) were smoothed at all. Going to be there next week. Yea!

Re: Video - Two Seat MSR DP at RA

I haven't decided yet whether to feel cheated or relieved that I couldn't quite work out doing my 2-day there this week. RA is a pretty scary place.

Sounds like you feel both. Where will you do it if not at RA?

aaahhhh RA, i ran my first race of my career there 25 yrs ago. If you ever have the chance take it. It is an all encompasing experience, the track, the town, the dam bell....... The place will challenge and improve your self confidence as a shoe. I wish iwas there as I type...

I do feel both. When I look at racing from certain angles, especially the distance views with a wide-angle, it's sometimes hard to figure why we want to do this. All that becomes fuzzy then vanishes altogether the closer I get.

Just a few minutes ago, I got a slot at LRP for July 25-26. I did my 3-day there last fall, the upside being that it shouldn't take me such a long time to get going fast enough for any of the lessons to work, the downside being that I won't learn to be comfortable at another track. I'll take the upside.

Since taking the 3-day last August, I've had a hard time lining up shedule, money and favors from friends to take the next step, so I'm pumped.

Does SB still use the RA short course for schools?
