Congrats Craig, Hazmatt and a big way to go Dave! Did you get as close to someone on the straights like last year?

Re: Duerson Takes Another Title

Kudos to (the usual suspects) Craig and Hazmatt with huge high fives to Super Dave for fast lap while finishing ahead of Tinkerbooth and Bobo! Honorable mention to Jim Booth who's clearly runnin' with a faster crowd... including his son. Well done all!

Re: Duerson Takes Another Title

I was on a one-stop strategy in the Memorial race. Oops.

After watching Craig drive at Sebring, its clear he's at the top of his game, even with all the time off he's had over the last few years.

Lots of great stories from the weekend. Most fun we've had at Homestead in a long time.

Re: Duerson Takes Another Title

Simply Put. Bobo can not win a Memorial. The Gods (Nick) are not with him. I had a 10 + second lead when the gods rang me and told me to slow up.

Duerson... just magic. Ricky just as good as Duerson but lacking the Duerson Magic. He hung with Duerson all weekend working the draft and hanging tough. He did what was needed to to run P1 and P2 all weekend. He showed great restrain running P2 attached to Craig gear bag never making a mistake. But with just a few laps to go and a caution to bunch the field he was shuffed back.

Cars were really equal and no advantage was had. We maybe 1 car.. my memorial hot rod.

Not a bad weekend for yound Kyle Lawerence either. But the title stays with the old guys for another year.

Haz

Re: Duerson Takes Another Title

Thanks for the mention Ricky. It was a blast again.

And no AriG I didn't get in trouble or scare anyone with my snuggling up into the draft.

So close to winning my age group until I threw it away with a poorly executed pass for a position I didn't even need.
