Re: Lola Closes

That just sucks.

Possible white knights:
-Scott Tucker (use some of that dough spent dominating SCCA amateur classes)
-Kirk Kalkhoven (still owns Cosworth, right?)

I WOULD say Dr. Panoz if this were a year ago, now I think he's looking to extricate himself from cars altogether. Maybe Dr. Panoz has found the cure for "racing addicition" (something of which we are all afflicted) like he did for cigarette addicition: spend buttloads of money with no hope for financial return for a decade. That gets it out of your system!

You are not alone...but you want to stand back a little when you do that.

Re: Lola Closes

Like the spyder but have loved the coupe since it first showed up. Too bad neither were very competitive, except this one once.

Re: Lola Closes

Is it okay if I like this Lola best?

I am saddened to hear they are gone. My heart aches.

Re: Lola Closes

My first Matchbox car was a Lola coupe. So I've always been partial to the coupe. And now they close on my birthday. Sad circle of events.
