In general not a bad idea. It would be grat to reward one of these wonderful individuals with our collective recognition (no Michael - you can only give one vote for Walter Irvine) however, what I do not like about polls is that there always will be a "loser". If this could be done anonymously and without showing the poll results, then this might be a great initiative.

We could also vote for the most popular TJR member. Oh well this might be a moot point (s. "WTG Sydude thread", argghh).

I agree with you that's not a good thing that someone will always be a 'loser'. I can't get the system to keep the results anonymous. It won't do it. How about if I let people make multiple votes, so it will be less likely that someone will end up with nothing?

Thanks for seconding my notion despite....But Sy's alternative bears some merrit. If we all get one vote per instructor and all give one vote to each of them, then no one will lose. Not bad, ey?

If there can't be a winner without a loser, then my vote is, that they are all winners. Who cares about driving a race car without "feedback"? Comments like "You are really jerking on the wheel","there is a lot more speed in that corner","you are doing fine, just be more gentle with the controls"(after a spin that resultet almost in a write-off) - have helped me keepin' it real.

They are all great, let us leave it at that until technology provides better help.
