Hard to know why Velocity, Speed, ESPN or NBCSports channel haven't jumped to cover this? It's a no brainer. The format is entertaining whether you're a racing fan or not, virtually made for TV consumption. It's the automotive equivalent of any extreme sporting event. Way more interesting and entertaining than the old IROC series. A better variety of drivers and vehicles.

There must be an obstacle we don't know about here... As there's never been a clear reason why this event has never been picked up.

At least we can view it on our computers.

Discovery HD picked up a highlight package from like 08 and 09, but they aired it on a couple month delay. But now that they have the "Velocity" network, they seem to be filling it will a lot of good programming, I wouldn't be surprised if we get it here sooner.
