Hello

Just back from the KTM Ride Orange event at Mid Ohio.

A couple of the Skip Barber guys really helped my out there with a missing mounting kit for my GoPro. I asked if they wanted a link to any of the video and they said to just go ahead and post it up here - so I made an account and here we go.

It's slow.. I'm sorry.. I'm a big guy, those are expensive bikes and that in combination means I crash hard which hurts financially and physically.. So I try to minimize it

http://www.vimeo.com/user729878/videos
all the videos

and here are 3 of the "sit up" bikes

Greg - 3rd - Mid O - I - KTM 690 SMC-full size from Greg Consier on Vimeo.

Greg - 2nd - Mid O - I - Super Duke from Greg Consier on Vimeo.

Greg - 4th - Mid O - I - 990 SMC from Greg Consier on Vimeo.

in any case.. some onboard from the I group - I tried to label what bike was on what on all the videos but I am not done working with it.
work and all.

Thanks guys!
Greg

Re: Hello

Yes, it is now the former SB superbike school. It is no more.

A real shame. It was well done and an absolute blast. What's not to love about 170hp in a 550lb bike & rider package?

A press release should be out soon. I'll pass it along when it's ready.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
9 A.M. EDT, March 4, 2011
SKIP BARBER RACING SCHOOL CLOSES SUPERBIKE SCHOOL

SALINAS, CA, February 24, 2011: Skip Barber Racing School, the world leader in auto racing education and entertainment, has discontinued their motorcycle racing school. Launched in 2008, the program held exclusively at their Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca location will no longer be available for 2011.
The school, offered in a two day format, educated riders with racing instruction from top level riders at the famous 2.23 mile road course. In its last year the school provided students with European Superbikes to learn proper racing techniques like trail-braking, threshold braking, throttle application and the correct racing line.
“The program was a great success in 2010,” said Kyle Morham, Senior Manager Sales and Marketing, “however, we determined Skip Barber Racing School must remain focused. Despite customer demand and consistently positive feedback, the continuation of a motorcycle program is not in line with our company’s strategy for the future. We are focused on racing and car control education on four wheels”. Customers registered for 2011 dates will receive a refund or apply their credit towards other Skip Barber Racing School programs. For more information on programs, offerings, and locations, visit www.skipbarber.com.
