Re: 2012 Vette DP

I wonder why Ford blue and not Chevy orange? How cool would it be if the next Vette was rear-mid engine.

Agreed... Corvette yellow wouldn't be bad either. Talk about missing a branding opportunity?

There will be a SunTrust / Wayne Taylor Racing version for us to see soon. Not sure what color palate they're working off.

Will the Ford and Toyota powered Daytona Prototypes look as good?

Some Vette pics from Daytona testing. I love the looks, but Ford/Riley will be the one to beat in '12

Re: 2012 Vette DP

Riley will be fast, especially with Porsche power, but Corvette really hit it out of the park styling-wise. Love it! The new Ferrari 458s look awesome too. Can't wait for the 24!

Me either. France family MO and politics will, sadly, have something to do with which engine has the most giddyup - will be interesting to watch it play out. John, when will I get the '12 MSR #60 renderings? Looking forward to seeing the new car...go MSR!

Please explain... I don't know much about how the Frances run GA -- to my non-expert eye, the event seemed to be run pretty fairly, competition close...

My comment on Porsche power was based on this story:
