Too bad Fisico seemed to let it go in the end... his pace dropped, and then he defended the chicane twice when it seemed it did not need defending yet. Still, brilliant run by Kimi. Is that the lowest starting spot to ever win a race?

No, the lowest starting spot ever to win a race was John Watson at the Long Beach GP in 1983 - won from the 22nd position. Nevertheless, that was an incredible drive by Kimi. The whole race was fantastic too...one of the better races I've seen in a long time. Kimi!

I happen to know that 1983 was way before CMitchell's time too, but he is into the history of the sport.
