Since this is now becoming I nailbiter I can't wait to get this started.

Please check your pick totals by clicking here, which will also give you the full spreadsheet. Make sure you're not over the limit on any of your choices.

A nailbiter

Martin... just remember, you can't bite Christina's nails thus disabling her from typing and hence beating your pants off in this pool!

GO CHRISTINA! BTW... you let me down last week :-(

AMOK! According to my very own predictor (usually hanging over the waistband of my pants ) my strategy will allow me to fight for a podium. Since CMAC and I are seeing this as a team contest, it has become her role to keep my back clear from potential assaults - but not too worry, you are not among the usual suspects.

Way too many references to body parts, Martin.

This is the Formula One forum. If you want to talk about yourself see, "Trash Talk."

Firstly, JP RS CD OP BMW.

Secondly, I third MacDod's motion, which was already seconded by mjamok.

Thirdly, Birkmama, you need to send a 'notice to post picks' email to all of the competitors. If you're gonna start the weekend off, then finish it too!

Michael,
I have to agree with Christina - you are my only hope in beating Sy! He is only 18 points ahead of me - so post your picks ASAP!
BTW, you are quite right - The RHPS is best seen on BIG screen, and Sy has proved to be more the "handy" man than the "candy"man - he claims that he just repaired the garage door that has been ka-put for nearly a year!! I would have just replaced the bloody thing!
On that note - I have to respectfully wait until you have posted - Christina and I are counting on you

Christina,
I bet Mikey uses MS, RB and Ferrari, after all it is Italy, and since we are both out of the RED team, we should be in the clear. It is only if he uses DC and MCL, BAR or REN that would be a concern - but there is enough out of the three to pick around that... plus he is out of BMW so this might be a good time to pick the Beamers. I think we are safe.
Sorry Michael, us girls have to stick together, besides, aren't you rooting for the babes here?

MPOWA where are you?

Some points leader you are - waiting for everyone else to make their picks first? Or is it too hard to figure out you have no MS, no RB, no JB, no JPM, no FA, no JT, and no KR left.

As for team picks you have FER. Let me think Ferarri in Italy? No, no don't pick them - pick REN like Jim Craige and you too can march backwards in the standings.

Oh no wait, don't pick until Sy goes - he has no FER and no REN. Yea, that's it , wait for Sy. He'll show you the way better than Jim. He can drop 4 places in the standings in a heartbeat.
Pick aready, before I get really annoyed.

Right Jim. Sure.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear you're writing speeches for Dick Cheney's with that kind of logic.

Prediction: Schumacher suffers first MDNF in 53 races

And, Ferrari scores NO POINTS in Italy.

Credo che impossibile, ma guarda e piange! Sforza Tifosi!!

As for my leftovers... St Nick Hiedfeld and Flip me Massa (sorry girls... had to pick him!)

I have just arrived in london and on my way to italy. NO not to see the race unfortunately but I think this one will be quite exciting. If everyone drives like they did in belgium I will be in good shape. as for the red guys I have inside info that they are RED HOT for the victory so be prepared for that, Kimi had one victory and I think that will end there . Mike Iwill be thinking of you and Macdod you can now stop biting your nail and pick em out I think you have a good chance at taking p1 good luck.

This is what you get when a 32 year old maniac with the balls and brains of a 17 year old builds a 'Supercharged and Nitrous Oxide Injected' 700 HP M3 to drive on African roads that aren't paved, are unsuitable for driving on over 20 mph and 99% populated by 40 year old smoke-belching 45 degree crab-walking mini-buses overfilled with pasengers by a factor of 4 and piloted by guys who drink more grain alcohol every day than you can drink water all year.

I love that kid.

I figure since Olivier has announced his retirement (of sorts), the pressure is off and he'll do well...as long as his motor doesn't go all Peugeot on him...

What is all that ridicule about? This must have been a heavy impact! Even the steering wheel was jerked across the cockpit to the right side!
But seriously - how well could you drive if you had to shift with your left and could barely see through the spiderwebs on the windshield?

Sy i just put brand new tires on the back and on the two spare wheels , you can imagine how fast they wear out, hey Martin the real question is how well can you drive with a defective leg, once I overcame that the rest was easy ... well till I was road BLOCKED. At least bmw build strong cars

Both Michael's do what they do best!

OK, be honest... was anyone surprised that on the weekend I picked them, Rubens chooses the wrong tire to start the race, and Michael S spins on the first lap?!?!? Of course not!

The question is, were you more or less surprised when they finished 1st and 2nd?
