Congratulations Phil, I am very happy for you. You deserve it!
On a side note, the article is extremely entertaining to read. Sounds like the race was a real clusterf***! And the writing style reads like it was written by a high-school intern. I especially like the following paragraph:
At the same time Matt McDonough made what many are calling a bonsai move down the inside, going from fifth to first. McDonough's move is in question currently as the track may have been yellow.
Below is a bonsai. One can only imagine what Matt's move looked like. Maybe he tried to look like a bonsai to escape the detection of the corner marshals as he went from fifth to first under yellow, kinda like Elmer Fudd hunting wabbits. "Nothing going on here, just a little bonsai tree moving to get a better look at the action. Hey, look over there!"

After a few (well, maybe more than a few) frustrating races and less than fully healthy cars, you deserved to show what you can do. I hope there are more results like this one for you.

Once again proof you just can't keep a good man down. Way to go Phil. Very happy for you. Well deserved and Bravo!

Congrats, the results became official late last night or this morning I read on another site. Lots of protests had to be sorted out from what it sounded like.
Just wanted to thank everybody for all the kind words of support. It was a wild weekend and it couldn't have been a better time for some luck to go my way. I've won a lot of races and championships, but this win is without a doubt the biggest win in my 25 years of racing. I'm just thrilled!!
Way to go "Full throttle Phil"!!! Now that the monkey's off your back, you can really put it to them. I hope you have the funds to do more races which will mean more wins! Congradulatiions.
