Re: Jason Holehouse qualifies 3rd for Lime Rock Camping World race
On a hot humid sunny day at Lime Rock Park Jason Holehouse fought the good fight surviving several close calls to finish on the podium, his best finish ever in a Nascar race. Todd and Linda Snyder, John and Jen Murphy, Phil Lombardi, Cash Mullen, Matt Franc, Ryan Hall, Matt Sklarz, Dean DiGiacomo, Roger Cote and a host of others bore witness to his mighty effort.
Bravo Jason and well done.
Here are a few shots from the post race cool down and celebration at Dean's SkyBox overlooking LRP's front straight.

The skybox is looking tip top. All photos from DD. Julia had to work and wasn't available to shoot. Would have been great if she had.

I will count on Jason to provide all the details as I was not in a postion to see what caused the slide, but...
....when Jason came into my line of site on the front stretch (lap 70 I think) he was at what appeared to be 31/32nds lock on the outside grass, 4-off, with a huge plume of dust behind him. He never backed out of it, straightened her out by S/F, all the while maintaining his position....Epic.
