Tom Magliozzi, 1937-2014

Most of you know the name before I even mention who he is. Tom Magliozzi and his surviving brother Ray were the hilarious pair of NPR's Car Talk. These guys are one of the reasons I love cars and the people who love them. I hope they were as much a part of your life as they were mine.

Rest in Peace, Tom. Millions will miss you.

Click and Clack, the tappett brothers.
MIT engineers.
Comedy show about cars but the cars are only a means to the comedy.
The premise of Top Gear today.

Absolutely Loved that show and even listen to the reruns.

Every day I go to work I wish that my auto dealer days were as much fun as their days as a repair shop owners

On that sad note, a well written farewell (but thought provoking as always) this month from Brock Yates in his final column for Vintage Motorsport. One of the automotive literary, and all around, giants.

Salutes to the Car Talk brothers and Brock Yates who did it his way. :-)

Thanks for the links Gerardo and the heads up Viz!
