I am looking for dimensions for the bodyshell of the formula dodge car. I need these dimensions so I can model a 3D image of the car on CAD and accurately work out how many stickers of a certain size I can fit on. Its a last ditch effort to secure sponsorship so any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have been in contact with SB but the dimensions don't seem to be to hand. So does anyone know who manufactures the bodywork or someone who did it at any stage.
Hi Ryan, and welcome to TJR. A quick search brings up this thread, which has some information for you, including the Skip Barber sticker placement guide, and also an extremely detailed technical drawing ( ) of the vehicle's bodywork, by Gerardo:
Note that you are 'technically' limited to specific locations and decal sizes, and aren't 'technically' allowed to use more. I say 'technically' because Skippy doesn't enforce it tightly, and you can get away with a certain amount of leeway. What they probably won't be happy with is if you cover their sponsor stickers, so a full car sponsorship deal may not work. But then again, $ always talks.
SBRS can provide you with a graphic showing locations and max dimensions allowed for each decal. Just use these max dimensions and see how many stickers you can fit inside each "box."
LOL!! Doug, I almost knew something like your edit would happen before I even scrolled down!
Eoin, good to hear from you. I'm quite happy to see you have not given up.
Be sure to click the link Sy provided, as it will give you more details than the photoshop Doug provided, both the Skip Barber official logo locations/sizes, as well as my hack job of the body's dimensions.
Also, does anyone have photos of the Telmex sponsored cars driven by Pablo Sanchez Lopez, Sergio Perez, Salvador Duran, or Luis "I've framed another one" Pelayo? These guys had the most complete car coverage of sponsor logos I've seen on a Skip Barber car. If someone finds a photo, that could give you more ideas.

Hey, I have a video of Salvador's Tel-Mex plastered car passing me at Tremblant in '03. Please note that while passing me, Salvador was keeping up foreign relations. You know, flipping me the bird.

Mr. Almighty Duran, who spun while battling with Marco (I think) and fell back into the pack, was pissed that he couldn't get by me for a whole five corners and decided to gesture what he thought of me.
And what are the stickers exactly (glue , static) and where can one get them?
These are vinyl 'low adhesion' stickers that can be peeled off relatively easily. Most graphics and sign shops can make them up. If you need a good resource, try 'Keith Graphics', 336.667.0308, ask for Keith.
