Re: Dream Track

We've had this pic hanging up in our office for a while. I do believe the credit goes to Rick Rosso. Whoever created it, well done! lol

Re: Dream Track

Hmmm. Esses at Road Atlanta go downhill. Corkscrew at Laguna Seca goes downhill. Downhill at Lime Rock goes ... downhill. Where is the elevation gain to support all of these downhill runs? (And, not to mention, the greatest downhill of them all -- Turn 9 at Laguna Seca.)

Re: Dream Track

No problem. Just hire M.C. Escher to draw up the final blueprints for the track.

If Tremblant's Turn One is missing, I'm going back to sleep.

I'm with you there. Which led me to ask myself, what are my Top Ten favorite corners/sequences?

1. The Carousel/Kink/Canada, Elkhart Lake
2. Turn 1, Sebring
3. Turn 17, Sebring
4. Bus Stop/Carousel/Laces, Watkins Glen
5. Turn 1/2/3, Mt. Tremblant
6. Corkscrew/Turn 9, Laguna Seca
7. Turn 1, Road Atlanta
8. West Bend/Downhill, Lime Rock
9. Hogpen, VIR
10. Turn 11, Mid Ohio

Ah, those who are too young to remember Bridgehampton - we had the best track and now it is a golf course.

Add in Eau Rouge and the uphill esses at VIR, should just about level things out. If its a strictly US track swap out Eau Rouge with esses at Watkins Glen.
