Cool, their owner must be an old Gram Parsons fan too. (I hope the pooch isn't Gram reincarnated ! )

Re: Viz - Note the Winner's Name

My friends, we are ALL old Gram Parsons fans.
Doug better be sitting down for the second version.

Small hijack, but on still on topic. Years ago I bought a Japanese issued CD of the "Sleepless Nights" album, which at the time wasn't available on CD in the US. The lyrics sheet inside was a best effort attempt to translate into English. Lots of funny changes, but one even made it to the wall of the dressing room of Emmylou's Nash Ramblers.

If you know the song
"The Angels Rejoiced", you'll appreciate this one.

Instead of ".......The angels rejoiced in heaven last night,
I heard my Daddy pray, dear God make it right"

They translated it to "....The angels rejoiced in heaven last night,
I heard my daddy pray "dear god make it rhyme"

Gram might have prayed that way too on a binge night while songwriting

I don't get it. Was the dog inbred to the point that its gas now smells of hickory instead of Alpo? That is a neat trick. And I bet an expensive one...
