Re: Mr. Amok arrives at race weekend
What makes me wistful about that picture is that I was wearing the JPL hat! Ahhhh, those were the days!
Thanks Doug! Again, nice work!

You mean that was the day...it didn't last very long. And yes, I'm already ducking because I know the standings in the Expert class!

Re: Mr. Amok arrives at race weekend
JPL stands for Juicy Points Leader!
Due to Sy's determination to get his crash damage out of the way early (p.s. it didn't work) he was unwilling to keep the car on the track at VIR. In fact, I think there is video of it on the site somewhere.
As such, I was crowned, albeit momentarily (as Pork Chop so kindly points out) JPL.
By Lime Rock, Sy had inherited the sweaty, stinky, louse infested cap we call a trophy.
It can be seen in the picture above on my head. It can be seen at upcoming race weekends on Sy's head!

Not only is it our job (and pleasure) to make fun of each other (and sbr....) but also of ourselves. For your viewing pleasure, I present you:
Video of Sy's crash in turn ten at VIR race #2
