Re: The R/T 1965

What a difference in your driving since the the first race you had there. Or maybe it bacause you were just not wearing ski gloves this time?

Did you alter the actual sound or did use a different car's sound file?

hey dude, those ARE the same gloves (Simpson, not Dakine)

Not R/T sound, a wav I found called gp gears, modified to fit the video. Don't you recognize a mid '60s F1 car???? Whippersnapper.

Fade to black cuts out my salute to 22 car........

You're right, those are the same gloves. If they are Simpsons, are you sure you didn't buy it from their Winter catalog? They're pretty thick! I'm such a snob...

...and car 22 did what to deserve a salute? come on cdh, you had the line on the last apex, just should have kept the right foot down.

No idea what you're talking about Dude.........they're regular Nomex gloves. Maybe the fact they're (were) white makes them look thick, works for me.

Now Mr Dude, I have a new game. Below is a peek at the dreaded pic. Contributions to the Mechanics Fund, or more slams from you, will reveal another frame. I could put dollar values on the frames for added interest............

Re: The R/T 1965

Please accept my most sincere apologies...

(I keep trying to get out, but they keep pulling me back in!)

But hey, I really like your idea for contributions to the mechanic's fund. I say we reveal each of the 11 boxes for $35. What do you think? I could start a paypal payment system for the mechanic's fund too! HEY - BRAINWAVE!

Phobes, seemed like a risky dive-bomb to me at the time.

OK, Ok, I was wrong to get mad............ (mist?)

when you say "last apex" what part of sequence are you referring to? The 2nd apex of the Inner Loop? Being rusty I was glad I didn't spin and was just gathering it up, I expected the 22 to spin off onto the grass and was caught off guard by his jink right.

Here is the clip with real sound and a slomo replay. Looking at it more closely I guess I could have stayed on it, battled for the line and possibly crashed but I agree, it was one of them racin' deals, mea culpa.

R/T 2000 vid 30 sec.

Re: The R/T 1965

I think it's worth more to me for people NOT to see it than it is for other people to pay TO see it. So, let's bump that price up to $50 bux a box.

Those will work for you, as they have thumbs. Evidently that's all you need.

Just kidding!
