Pretty cool Ron,

Remember when you first learned to get that much rotation with the E-brake?!

Cool video Rob! I can see the grin on your face through your helmet!

But you need a slightly higher mounting point for your camera so we can see out the window better.

Racing is the best fitness/diet motivator for old guys ever. You're right, Pat. Ron is now his own better half!

Re: Little Taste of Summer

Next Saturday is another round and will mount the camera up high over the center of the car. Should be a good race next week $2500 to win !! Will be lots of cars. 25-30 in the A main is a lot on a 3/8 mile oval ! Every lap is like going into turn one at RA during the start of a race. Fun !!

Re: Little Taste of Summer

Great shot and look forward to the video... with one thought. If the camera is above the windshield and doesn't have one of those motorized rolls of plastic that refresh the lens... you may not be able to see much after the first lap.

Good luck!

We're talkin dirt cars here Pat. Didn't you see Ron wiping clods off his visor? Some nice chickenwire keeps the big ones out.

Re: Little Taste of Summer

Exactly my point... I did see how much energy went into clearing clods with only a couple of cars in front of him. With a big field the camera will be reduced to recording only a sound track in very short order. But hey... you never know. Hope I'm wrong.

Re: Little Taste of Summer

It will be in the car,and I will angle the shot so we don't get a direct hit on the lens.
Should be fun !!
Ron
