I had this idea 10 years ago - but I was going to use tube frame cars with pretty tame V8 engines. Cars would have cost under $50K. - maybe $75 today.

These cars will cost more that the new Indy car......

If I was going to spend that cash (which I don't have) I would get this:

We discussed here a few years back the notion of Sport Racer bodies on the SB formula car...or Can-Am small-scale reproductions....just a thought exercise, would be cool

I had looked into a manufature in the Atlanta area and the frame would have had the ability to carry both the "Can-Am" style body and an open wheel version. But...the new direction was not seeing my idea through the same eyes.
