Barber Motorsports Park - Fan Rating

I was considering going over to Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham the weekend after next for the GrandAm / IRL event. Does anyone have feedback about watching a race there? I've heard from Mike Waters that the facility is beautiful, and it looks like a really neat track. But, is it a good place to watch a race? Also, if anyone's thinking about going, please let me know.
